This tour starts with a drive up the coast from Kotor to get a panoramic view of the small of island town of Sveti Stefan, one of the iconic sights of Montenegro. We then continue onto Skadar – the largest lake in Southern Europe!
Skadar Lake is famous for its vineyards and is the home of the smooth, red Vranac grape variety. We will visit a family-run winery to see how they produce their red nectar and of course, to sample the results.
From the lake, there is an old road that is famous for its picturesque scenery as you follow it up to Cetinje – the ancient, former capital of Montenegro. The highlight here is King Nikola's Palace, which was the seat of the Montengrin Royal Family and now a popular museum.
After Cetinje, we make our way back to the coast and finish with a walking tour of Kotor – one of this tiny country's coastal jewels. Our expert guide will take you around some of the tresures of Kotor's Old Town, leaving you with free time in the late afternoon to do some exploration and souvenir-hunting of your own.
